The town of Indian Trail in Union County, named one of the top 10 places in America to raise a family by Family Circle Magazine, is located about 15 miles southeast of Charlotte, adjacent to Highway 74, and close to I-485. Incorporated in 1907, Indian Trail has been around for a while, but its growth has exploded since 1990.
