The average sale price of Matthews homes increased by double digits for the second month in a row at 13.3% to just under $297,000 as compared with the same period one year ago.
Average days on market for property listings were 33 days. Median days on market were 9 days in February 2018.
Average price per square foot increased by 9.7% to $124/square foot in February 2018 versus the same period in 2017. Pending sales were up 8.2% in February versus the same month last year. Closed sales were up 6.0%
During February 2018, the number of showings until pending contract per listing averaged 15 showings (flat versus last year) while the number of showings per listing averaged 9.1 (a 2.2% reduction year-over-year).

New listings increased by 7.2% versus February 2017. Matthew area's months supply of homes increased by one tenth of one percent to 2.3 months.
