Summer 2017 has been sizzling hot in the Charlotte region and the housing market has been, too. Charlotte had its first break from 90+ degree temperatures yesterday, for the first time in over a week. Today, it's back to 90 degrees. 23 of the 27 days-to-date in July have seen temperatures of 90 degrees or more!
Charlotte's housing market during the first full summer month has also been sizzling hot! Although Charlotte's primary selling season tends to begin a subtle slowdown at this point in the year, the weekly numbers for the weeks ending July 1, July 8, and July 15 show that buyer demand remains high and inventory is low as compared with the same time frames one year ago.
Summer is by no means over in Charlotte... no doubt we have some sizzling hot days ahead of us both in terms of weather and the housing market.
