- 360+ million glasses of champagne and sparkling wine will be consumed on New Year’s Eve.
- 175+ million people will watch the ball drop on New Year’s Eve with some 1 million people in attendance at Times Square.
- New Year’s Eve is the busiest night of the year for illegal, celebratory gun fire!
- More cars are stolen on New Year’s Day than any other day of the year. Sadly, almost 43,000 people are hurt each year in New Year’s Eve car crashes and the holiday is the cause of 375+ fatalities.
