The Waxhaw area housing market remained a home seller's market in December 2021 with continued significant decreases in inventory and new construction. With 56.1% less inventory year-over-year and continued buyer demand, days on market were down to historically low levels, while home prices increased to historic highs. Both closed and pending sales were down due to the lack of inventory and new listings.
