ICE SKATING AT THE US NATIONAL WHITEWATER CENTER IN CHARLOTTE

 

Many people associate the US National Whitewater Center with rafting and other warmer weather water activities. But did you know that starting mid- November 11th through mid-February,  you can skate on an ice trail or free skate on 24,000 square feet of ice at the US National Whitewater Center? The Whitewater Center’s ice rink  includes four distinct skating areas, including two ice trails and two free skate zones. The US National Whitewater Center ice skating rink is open daily 10:00 AM till 10:PM on weekends and 12:00 PM till 10:00 PM weekdays, including on Thanksgiving and Christmas Days. A single activity pass is $25. Parking is $12.

ICE SKATING AT CAMP NORTH END

 

where to ice skate in charlotte during the holiday seasonThe Camp North End ice skating rink opens on November 22nd and will stay open through January 5th. The rink is open daily, including on Thanksgiving and Christmas Days. Admission is $15 and includes skate rental, but you are free to bring your own skates. Children under the age of 5 pay $10. ICE SKATING AT UNION COUNTY ICE RINK

 

This is the first year for this rink, presented by Union County Parks & Recreation. The rink will be open from November 25th to January 20, 2025, except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Skating hours are 2:00 PM till 9:15 PM. Cost is $12 per person, which include skate rental. Children under the age of three enter free.

ICE SKATING AT LIGHT THE KNIGHTS FESTIVAL

 

where you can ice skate outdoors in charlotte areaLight the Knight Festival at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte features a regulation size ice rink on the field and a 10-lane, 150-foot snow tubing slope in right field. The rink will be open November 27th through January 3, 2025. ICE SKATING AT FOUNDERS HOLIDAY ICE RINK IN ROCK HILL, SC 

 

Located in the heart of old town Rock Hill, the Founders Holiday Ice Rink will be open daily except for Mondays and Christmas Day, November 16th until January 20, 205. Tickets are $15, which includes skates and 90 minutes of skating. Hours of operation at Founders Holiday Ice Rink vary, so click here for updates.
