The Indian Land housing market remained a seller’s market with 2.4 months supply of inventory. Inventory was down 13.7% year-over-year. Average and median home sale prices up year-over-year. Average and median days on market dropped substantially year-over-year. Closed sales increased 12.5% versus March 2019.

Indian Land, SC (29707 zip code) real estate report/snapshot for March 2020. The Indian Land housing market remains a seller’s market with just 2.4 months supply of inventory overall, down 25% from 3.2 months in March 2019. Housing inventory was down 13.7% in March, overall, with resale inventory down 11.6%. New construction inventory decreased 28.7% year-over-year.

Both average and median sale prices increased in March to $337,013 and $325,028, respectively. Average sale prices increased 15.2% year-over-year and median sale prices increased 6.3% year-over-year. 

Closed sales increased in March, up 12.5% year-over-year. Pending sales dropped 13.6% versus March 2019. 

Average days on market dropped to 49 days (down14 days year-over-year) and were down 6 days month-over-month.  Median days on market were 20 days (down 23 days year-over-year) and down 22 days month-over-month. 

With home sellers receiving 98.7% of asking price in sale price (up 1.8% year-over-year), the negotiating opportunity for home buyers in Indian Land was negligible.
