During Quarter 2-2024, Ardrey neighborhood’s average sale price increased 12% compared with the same quarter one year ago. The median sale price increased 10%.  Average price per square foot was $253, up 9% year-over-year. Home sellers in Ardrey saw more than 100% in the list to sales price ratio at 101.4%, which was a 1% increase over the same quarter one year ago. Ardrey homes sold quickly in Quarter 2-2024 at one average day on market, down 80% compared with the same quarter in 2023. Demand for homes in Ardrey continues to outpace supply. Compared with Quarter 1-2024, Ardrey home prices also were higher in Quarter 2 and days on market were lower.

Ballantyne Village is also accessible within minutes. All the major medical practices in Charlotte maintain offices in Ballantyne, as well. The Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center opened in 2023, providing  emergency services, maternity care, surgery, outpatient diagnostic testing and more.  Also nearby are Trader Joe’s, Ballantyne Country Club, Piper Glen Club, horseback riding facilities in nearby Waxhaw.

A number of private and parochial schools are also nearby, including the British International School in Charlotte and St. Matthew Catholic School (both in the Ballantyne area). Coming soon to Ballantyne area are a new middle school and a new high school. 


Ardrey Kell High School was ranked the #1 best public high school in Mecklenburg County by for 2024. It was also ranked the #3 best public high school in the Charlotte region and #10 of  618 public high schools in North Carolina. According to test scores, 91% of students were proficient in math and 86% were proficient in reading. Community House Middle School was ranked the #6 best public high school in Mecklenburg County and #28 our of 140 public middle schools in North Carolina. Elon Park Elementary School has been ranked the #11 best public elementary school in Mecklenburg County for 2024 out of 139 elementary schools in the county.
