Average Home Sale Price Up 12%
Reavencrest home sales in Quarter 3-2023: average and media home sale prices increased compared with the Third Quarter one year ago — 12% and 16% respectively. Home prices also increased compared with the first two quarters of 2023. List to sale price ratio remained above 100% and homes sold quickly, averaging eight days on market (down 20% from one year ago). Just three properties sold in Quarter 3-2023. No homes were listed for sale as of the start of Quarter 4-2023.

There were no sales of Reavencrest townhomes in Quarter 1-2023. In Quarter 2-2023, one townhome sold at a price that was 2% higher than one year ago. Quarter 3-2023 saw an increase in average and median sale prices of Reavencrest townhomes, as well as an increase in list to sale price ratio from the Second Quarter 2023. Although days on market increased in the Third Quarter 2023, townhomes still sold quickly — in eight days on average. Three properties sold in Quarter 3-2023, which was the highest number of townhome sales in one quarter this year.

One of the most popular neighborhoods in the Blakeney and Ballantyne areas in south Charlotte for almost two decades, Reavencrest is a beautiful neighborhood of single family homes, patio homes with maintained lawns, and townhomes located in the heart of Charlotte’s prestigious Ballantyne/Blakeney area between Rea Road and Tom Short Road.
Built by Pulte Homes in the early 2000’s just as the Ballantyne area began expanding rapidly, Reavencrest offers five distinct “neighborhoods within a neighborhood.”

The 433 single family homes in Reavencrest are primarily two-story homes with three to four bedrooms + a two-car garage. They range in size from about 2,100 square feet to 2,900 square feet.
The Reavencrest patio homes range in size from about 1,400 square feet to 1,800 square feet and feature two to three bedrooms with two to three bathrooms + a two-car garage. While many of the patio homes are one story, there are some that have a bedroom and bath on the second floor.
The townhomes in Reavencrest range in size from 1,600 to just over 1,800 square feet. All are two-story plans with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Most of the townhomes feature a one-car garage, but there are some with two-car garages. Reavencrest has some 189 patio homes and townhomes.
